Meet the Donors

Meet some of the amazing people and organizations who make AIDS Saskatoon programming possible! This is a tiny selection of a few of their stories.

Public Service Alliance of Canada Saskatoon Women's Regional Committee

Clara and the other members of PSAC's Saskatoon Women's Regional Committee embody the progressive and generous spirit. Over the past year, they've run drives to collect household and personal care items, and played a major role in our annual Christmas Hamper program. In September 2010, AIDS Saskatoon was a beneficiary of their Regional Women's Conference. We're proud to call this fabulous group of women our friends!

Weston Bakeries Ltd.

Both PWAS and staff love to see the Wonder Bread truck pull up to the 601. AIDS Saskatoon receives donations of day old bread from Weston. Everyone at AIDS Saskatoon appreciates the support of Weston and delivery driver Gordo (who has also become a volunteer!). Weston has greatly expanded our capacity to offer healthy meals--and delicious snacks--to people affected by HIV & HCV.

St. Mark's Anglican Church

St. Mark's Anglican Church has been pulling out "Christmas miracles" every December for years, by fundraising for and packing enormous box for our Christmas Hamper program. In 2010, St. Mark's contributed full hampers for 18 families: and by "full", we mean that staff can hardly lift them! Each family that gets a St. Mark's hamper receives three apple boxes bursting with perishable staples, canned goods and a turkey. AIDS Saskatoon deeply appreciates St. Mark's Anglican's commitment.
