1. Media Coverage
HIV in Saskatchewan has been receiving a ton of media coverage over the past few weeks. Check out our Facebook page of the "A.S." in the News" section of our website (under "News & Events") for highlights of stories that feature the agency and/or projects we're involved in.

2. "601 North"
One of these stories was about the development of a satellite office in Prince Albert. Yes, it's true! We're very excited to be working with local partners in P.A. to establish a small drop in space -- 601 North -- for people who are at risk for HIV. Listen for more information about this project in June.
Relatedly: AIDS Saskatoon is now collecting supplies for this new office. We are especially in need of travel-size toiletries and coffee mugs.

3. FLY ME AWAY! Raffle
Win a round-trip travel voucher for two anywhere that Westjet flies, or a three-piece luggage set valued at $570. Tickets are $5 and available now from any Board member or by calling the office. Tickets must be purchased by June 4; draw date is June 11.

4. Upcoming Events

a. Garden Planting & BBQ
On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 1, some friendly folks from CHEP are coming to help us plant our community garden. Afterwards, we'll have a BBQ! Call for more information.

b. Annual General Meeting
AIDS Saskatoon's Annual General Meeting will be on Monday, June 14th at 6pm, here in the 601 Outreach Centre. We'll elect new Board members and eat delicious snacks. Everyone is welcome, but only people with up-to-date memberships may vote; if you haven't gotten your 2010 membership yet, please renew prior to Friday, June 11th.

5. JOB POSTING: Public Education Assistant
Applicants MUST be current students 30 or under intending to return to school in the fall. Deadline for resumés is 4pm, Wednesday May 26; start date May 31st. A PDF of the posting is attached below.
