Donating has never been easier...

Hi Friends--

We're excited to announce that there's a new, quick and easy way to contribute to the work of the 601 Outreach Centre. AIDS Saskatoon now accepts donations of Optimum Points from Shoppers Drug Mart! Take a look: http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/english/optimum/donate_points/index.html

I'm already a Shoppers Optimum member. How does it work?

First, visit the Shoppers Drug Mart website or follow this link: http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/english/optimum/donate_points/index.html. General information about the program, as well as a list of all participating charities, is available here. Click on "Donate Now!", and you'll be prompted to enter your Shoppers Optimum card number and either your postal code, date of birth, or security password. Then you'll be taken to a window where you can select your charity of choice, and enter the number of points you'd like to give. Click submit, and you're done! You'll receive a confirmation by email. It's just that easy!

What does AIDS Saskatoon use them for?

Lots of things! Optimum Points accumulate quickly, and AIDS Saskatoon will be able to redeem them for things like food, cleaning supplies, personal care items and vitamins. We're very enthusiastic about their potential to provide much-needed supplies for the 601 and people who access services.

I haven't been collecting these points, but can I start?

Shoppers Optimum points are redeemable like cash, in increments from $10-$150. To sign up for a card, visit a store or follow this link: http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/english/optimum/enrollment/index.html

I know lots of people probably have Optimum cards lying ignored in the back of your wallet... This is an awesome and super-easy way to help out, without actually spending any money. Pass it on!
